Sergeant Mike Pearson — Took over the management of Tango 1 racing in 2004. A police officer for 29 years Mike is passionate about Road Safety. He formed Beat the Heat (WA) in 2005 and has developed it to where it is today. |

John Solich— Joined Beat the Heat in 2005 when it formed in WA. A civilian member of the team, John brings extensive drag racing experience to the team after crewing in Top Fuel for 4 seasons. A self taught mechanic he stripped his first engine at age 8 |

Senior Constable Lee Watson— Joined the original Tango 1 Police drag team in 1993, A drag racer since 1986, he joined Beat the Heat in 2007. A police officer for 22yrs. |

Senior Constable Rob Wagenaar— Rob has been an operational police officer for 9 years and is an instructor with the WA Police Driver Training Unit. He has vehicle fabricating experience and is in his first year with the Heat WA team. |

Seargent Chris DeBruin Chris joined the team in 2010 and this year will start his drag racing career piloting both Tango 2 and the new Tango 3. Chris has drag racing experience at the old Ravenswood track in a Monaro. Chris has been an operational Police Officer for 25 years and is the current boss at the Arson Squad. |

Mike Caridi - Public Officer Mike joined the team in 2008 as our Associations Public Officer keeping the Teams financial affairs in order. A Motorsport enthuiast, Mike is an avid believer of encouraging the younger population to bring their racing to the track. |
